FTA SME Commercial Gateway

Check potential SME status and access commercial support

Assess potential SME status under the framework applicable to the enterprise origin, then access direction-specific FTA information, commercial opportunities and platform workflows.

SME status opens the SME information and support pathway. It does not automatically grant tariff preference, origin qualification, procurement access, regulatory approval or any other FTA benefit.

1. Select enterprise origin

Select the official SME framework applicable to the enterprise. The assessment dropdowns below will change immediately.

EU framework selected: staff, turnover, balance sheet and enterprise relationship.

2. Complete the potential SME assessment

Supporting SME evidence

Upload annual accounts, turnover evidence, balance-sheet evidence, staff evidence, ownership information or an SME declaration.

No document selected. Assessment may continue, but the result remains unverified.

Continue even if financial evidence is incomplete

A balance sheet and document upload are not required to continue. You may proceed with an unverified preliminary SME profile and provide additional evidence later during registration or review.

SME Information and Contact-Point Readiness

Prepare the SME information request for controlled routing to the relevant platform support function or competent contact point.

SME identity and business activity confirmed
Trade or investment direction selected
Target market and requested information identified
Relevant tariff, origin, standards or SPS topic selected
Administrative or market-access question described
Supporting documents or evidence identified
Relevant contact-point category selected
Manual-review declaration accepted

This readiness layer does not contact an authority automatically, provide a binding treaty interpretation, determine eligibility or issue a market-access, administrative or legal conclusion. Platform-controlled manual review remains required.

Registration is open to every enterprise

SME status is not a condition for joining the platform. SMEs, larger enterprises, new companies and enterprises awaiting verification may register.

Assessment limitation: This is a preliminary platform assessment, not an official SME certificate, government determination, FTA preference approval or legal opinion. Official ownership, registration, financial and supporting evidence must be verified. The FTA SME provisions provide SME-focused information and cooperation but does not automatically qualify a product, service or transaction for an FTA benefit.
