EFTA–India TEPA · Trust & Execution Assurance

International Trust & Execution Assurance

A treaty opens the door. It doesn't tell you whether your partner is who they claim to be, whether the factory really runs at capacity, or whether your technology stays protected. Executing EFTA–India joint ventures, manufacturing projects and technology transfers needs verified trust, financial backing and ground-level intelligence.

The TEPA was signed on 10 March 2024 and has been in force since 1 October 2025, with an EFTA aim to raise investment in India by USD 100 billion over 15 years and help create one million direct jobs. Treaty Lane turns that opportunity into deals you can execute, with evidence-based vetting and Trust Badges your counterparties, banks and boards can rely on.

Corridor power

Corridor Influence & Lobbying

The right people, the right institutions and the right channels for foreign investors entering India or EFTA markets.

Treaties open markets, but people and institutions move projects. Treaty Lane works with a network of vetted local partners: policy advisers, chambers and industry associations, law firms, and former officials acting in an advisory capacity. Together they help investors reach the right decision-makers through official channels, understand what is actually blocking a file and put a well-argued case forward.

What the corridor network does for you

Right people on the ground

Introductions to vetted local representatives, site scouts, liaison managers and sector specialists in the target Indian state or EFTA market.

Bureaucratic hurdle clearance

Track applications through official single-window and agency processes, find the missing document or the right desk, and escalate through proper channels.

Policy & regulatory advocacy

Position papers, consultation responses and sector submissions, often coordinated through chambers and industry associations.

Government & institutional access

Structured, transparent meetings with investment promotion agencies, state industry departments, embassies, trade offices and EFTA-side institutions.

Coalition building

Bring together investors with a shared policy issue, such as standards recognition, permits or infrastructure, to make a stronger joint case.

How an engagement runs

  1. STEP 1

    Issue diagnosis

Define the bottleneck: approval, policy gap, standard, infrastructure or local acceptance.

  2. STEP 2

    Stakeholder map

Identify the competent authorities, influencers and allies, and the official channels to reach them.

  3. STEP 3

    Engagement plan

Agree the messages, materials, meetings and disclosures. Every step is logged.

  4. STEP 4

    Execution & reporting

Partners carry out the plan and report the outcomes and next steps transparently.

Why the badges carry weight

Built to be relied on by banks, boards and partners

Evidence-based

Every badge is backed by a documented evidence file, not self-declaration alone.

Independently reviewed

Findings are checked by a second reviewer before any badge is issued.

Time-limited

Badges expire and must be renewed, so the trust signal stays current.

Revocable

A badge is suspended if material adverse information comes to light.

Trust Badges reflect a platform review carried out at a point in time against published criteria, delivered with vetted partners under an engagement agreement. They are not government certifications, credit ratings, legal opinions or guarantees of performance, and they do not grant customs, origin or duty-preference approval. Treaty references are summaries; always check the official TEPA text and seek qualified legal advice.
